We recently signed up to Design Declares, a growing group of designers, design studios, agencies and institutions committed to declaring a climate and ecological emergency. At Biomimicry Innovation Lab, we strongly believe in using nature as a model for designing more sustainable systems and products. In light of the current environmental crisis, we feel it is imperative to take action and help raise awareness about the need for urgent climate action. We hope that by joining Design Declares, we can help spark change and positively impact the environment.

Why Biomimicry Innovation Lab signed up to Design Declares

Biomimicry Innovation Lab was proud to sign up to Design Declares, a global coalition of designers, studios, agencies and institutions recognizing the urgent need for regenerative design in pursuit of sustainability. We are committed to finding solutions inspired by nature, advocating for policies that address climate change and promoting an ecological regenerative mindset rooted in circular systems thinking. We are taking a stand with our partners from around the world, collectively engaging in efforts to build a regenerative future for generations to come and for life on Earth.

Design Declares is an urgent call to action, a coalition of designers, design studios and institutions worldwide united to respond to the climate and ecological emergencies. In addition, it seeks to increase awareness and commitment from the global design community regarding regenerative strategies that can help restore our fragile ecosystem.
